Summer Camp will integrate play with sports performance, teaching fitness-as-fun principles, participate in a variety of sports clinics and classes, prepare healthy snacks with our registered dietitians and experience new adventures! Additionally, this year’s program will introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities, enriching the camp experience. In this demo, Melissa Accardi, MS, RD, LDN, will explore how simple, fresh ingredients come together to create a satisfying meal. She’ll highlight key nutrition tips to help you incorporate more kale into your meals, add walnuts as a source of plant-based, heart-healthy fats, and include more whole grains in your diet. She’ll feature gluten-free pasta options, including: whole wheat, chickpea and lentil – showing how you can enjoy pasta without compromising your health goals.
