Aqua Class Descriptions
An invigorating, low impact water fitness class that combines both strength training and cardiovascular conditioning exercises. Use the resistance of the water and a variety of aquatic equipment to challenge your strength and stamina. Your heart will pound…but your joints will not!
A great endurance workout with intervals of stretching and resistance training using hand buoys. Expect continuous movement through the water constantly using the arms, hips, and legs. The hydrostatic pressure of the water makes this a great alternative to running for those who have joint pain but also challenging conditioning for running athletes looking to shake up their routine.
Held in the warm-water therapy pool. Increase flexibility, range of motion, muscle strength and overall well- being in this aquatic class that uses the natural properties of warm water in our therapy pool. Ease stress and discomfort of chronic pain, arthritis and injuries in this gentle, yet energizing aquatic class.
Aqua Zumba ®
