Our aquatics programming provides low impact on the joints while allowing for low or high intensity challenges. These classes are done in either the lap or therapy pool based on intensity. Classes held in the lap pool include: Aqua Zumba, Aqua Strength, Aqua Cardio, Aqua Interval, H2O Challenge and Aqua Circuit. Classes held in the therapy pool include Aqua Fit and Aqua Flex. Unlimited group Aqua classes are included in the price of membership to the center. Please note: Classes must maintain a minimum number of participants for a consistent time period, or they are subject to cancellation.
An hour of aerobic conditioning and resistance training using a variety of equipment in the lap pool. For the fit individual.
A combination of cardiovascular and weight bearing movements using medicine balls, parachutes, weights and body weight. Focus is placed on each individual completing the exercise at their own pace. This can be a great starting class or an advanced class.
Held in the warm-water therapy pool, this workout focuses on flexibility, range of motion and strength training using pool-resistance equipment. Specifically designed for those with chronic medical conditions like Arthritis. This class is a great alternative for injury rehabilitation.
Held in the warm-water therapy pool, this workout works on cardiovascular endurance, strength training and stability using a variety of pool-resistance equipment. This class is great for warm water exercisers looking for something more of a challenge.
This hour-long class is a class great for all levels that combines water running, drills and jumps into one class.
This basic aquatic circuit class alternates aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises using a variety of moves and equipment in the lap pool. Appropriate for older adults.
The resistance of water adds new challenges to Zumba® dance moves while buoyancy reduces impact to your joints. This fun and aerobic workout is appropriate for all ability levels. No equipment or dance experience necessary.
A series of heart-pumping drills using a variety of equipment and utilizing the resistance of the water combined with rebounding in the lap pool.
