Yoga is a great way to get fit and stay healthy. At Wilfred R. Cameron Wellness Center, we offer group yoga classes for all levels. Our classes are designed to help you improve your flexibility, strength, and balance while also providing a great way to connect with others.
Our classes are led by experienced instructors who will guide you through each pose and help you get the most out of your practice.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting your journey, this introductory class is for you. Explore basic poses that stretch and strengthen your body, all while building alignment, body awareness, and breath control. While all levels are welcome, our emphasis is on supporting and guiding newer students to ensure a positive and enriching experience.
5:00pm – 6:00pm | Conference Room A | Members: $10 | Non-Members: $15 | Postpartum exercise involves activities designed to help a woman’s body recover after childbirth, typically starting with gentle movements and gradually increasing intensity and duration. The focus is on strengthening the core, pelvic floor, and back muscles while also improving overall fitness and well-being. This workshop will focus on getting back into exercise, healthy eating, and how to relieve stress. Register at the front desk or online.
1:30pm – 2:30pm | Nature Trail, WRCWC – meet at the gazebo | Members: Free | Non-Members $15 | Join Brooke Smokelin for a relaxing and informative walk along our trail. As you stroll, Brooke will introduce you to a variety of native plant species, sharing insights into their ecological roles and traditional uses. Our Healing Sound Bath promises an extraordinary experience, designed to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. In a Sonic Therapeutics Sound Healing Session you relax, fully clothed, on a massage table while you hear, feel and experience different sonic tones from tuning forks. Whether you’re new to yoga or recovering from an injury or illness, this class is perfect for you. Through slow movements and gentle stretches, you’ll release tight muscles and soothe stiff joints, promoting healing and relaxation.
Perfect for new students of yoga or anyone recovering from injury and/or illness or dealing with chronic symptoms such as muscle/joint pain, stiffness, weakness or fatigue. In this class, slow movements help to stretch tight muscles and gently coax stiff joints.
This style of yoga combines breath, mind, and body to help you reconnect and reground both physically and mentally. Guided by our experienced teachers, you’ll embrace long-held asanas (poses) and deep breathing, ending each session with a blissful meditation. Utilizing a variety of props such as mats, straps, blocks, bolsters, and blankets, we ensure your comfort and support throughout the practice.
Pilates lengthens and strengthens muscles through non-impact mat exercises. Props including thera-bands, balls, rings, and rollers may be used for a challenging and stimulating workout. Appropriate for all levels.
Meet us on the mat to re-center and breathe. Guided meditation will be facilitated to help all participants slow down and be present.

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. The Wellness Center offers several Pilates classes for most anyone through out the week! Members – your first class is free after completing our JumpStart class!
