Mike was born and raised in Princeton, NJ and earned his bachelors in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University. After he graduated he spent the next year interning with Penn State Football’s Performance Enhancement team. During the internship, he earned his CSCS through the NSCA as a practicing certified strength coach. After the internship was over Mike took a graduate assistant position at St. Francis University working with women’s soccer, women’s water polo, track and field, and football teams. Mike is also Certified in Adaptive Personal Training. This will help the center be better prepared to train individuals who are differently abled. Through the certification course, he gained an understanding of how to effectively communicate and train individuals who have down syndrome, autism, suffered a stroke, and have cerebral palsy. This information will help all of our trainers be better prepared to take on any client who wants to train at the Wilfred R. Cameron Wellness Center.
